The Singularity

Where the mist touches the land
Amidst the tall fir trees
There my ethereal voice will draw you near
To roam that land of tranquility!

Feel my cosmic music pulsate
In every mind that here dwells,
Just raise your hands to dance along
To its enchantingly melodious blissful spell!

No wandering soul here is lost,
Feel the whole wide universe converge,
In it's depths the Singularity exists
With it let your soul merge.

Long Lost Woods

Don't you remember its beckoning call?
If you've forgotten, I'll help you recall.
For day by day my heart eagerly yearns,
Unto those woods, I so want to return.

For I cannot forget its soothing embrace,
For its protective shadows, I increasingly crave.
And in solitude I still murmur that enchanting tune,
That echoed in its bosom, be it night or noon.

I still remember the time it'd all started,
When slowly we were all left blinded,
By those sleepless lights that hung like a mist,
Shining all the night, never ceasing to persist.

Then slowly the homeless shadows had found shelter in our hearts,
And wading in that darkness, from our souls, we were wrenched apart.
In the end, with one wish in heart, all the humanity stood,
Praying to return to us, those lovely, long lost woods!

My Beauty, My Granny

From the day I was born,
And I lay cuddled in your arm,
When you wrapped me
in a loving bond, so tight,
I started to believe
in, Love at first sight.

As you always came
bearing lots of gifts,
And with your sweet smile, gave our joys,
a sky-high lift,
And since on the christmas day,
your birthday was,
We were assured
that you were our santa claus.

And when like meek rats, from our mom,
we scurried away,
Shrieking in fright, crying "May day, May day",
We went and hid behind your back,
For you were our shield, and not just that:
From your prowess we so transformed,
That on our faces, a victorious smile dawned.

We, in your eyes, embodied an ideal child,
And you never let slip that love was blind.
Your stories of old, were my golden fairy tales,
As I got pulled in the wonderland, whilst you narrated in great detail!

O our pillar of strength! you always left us amazed,
With your brilliance, of which we cannot sing enough praise.
And I know that even the distance of the seven seas,
Cannot keep your blessings, away from me!

My Offering

Laden with fruits,
I bow down to you,
Wishing nothing but, with my fragrant flowers,
to decorate you.
And so when the passing wind told me,
it was off to visit you,
I gave her a few, to lay them at your altar,
my humble offering to you.

Bye-bye Little Birdie

A little hummingbird I met,
Along the deep blue shore.
It flitted-floated all around,
Dancing o'er the oceanic floor.

Snowy Christmas

Seattle's getting ready for the Christmas,
Laying out a snowy carpet for it's arrival!
Come one, come all, lets have some fun,
Nature's also wishing "Merry Christmas everyone!"

Life's flow

Come flow with me,
For I'll take you to the sea of Divinity.
Although the way may seem topsy-turvy,
Truly unfathomable is the destination's beauty!

Don't judge me on each undulating turn,
Just bear with me for the change will come.
Your hope is what gives me flow,
Don't meloncholyily brood lest the current would slow.

Flow is life, stagnation death,
Strive on till your last breath,
And howsoever be the ending, do not fret,
For I'll let you in on a little secret.

Such is life never ending it's flow,
Here you'll reap as you'll sow.
And though every turn of tide will make you forget,
My eternal recorder doesn't ever reset.

Just bear in mind to justly act,
And you'll stay on the flow's gentle track.
Else I'll take you in circles for endless time.
And this is the life's only true eternal paradigm!

Santa Claus is coming along!

The santa roamed on the boat,
Calling to one and all, saying Yo Ho,
And merrily the children stood tracing the shore,
Rejoicingly waving, whilst playing their roles, in The Santa Show!

Colors of Nature

Blow me away,
I said to the wind and the rain.
With each shudder
Help me cast my skin away!

The wind plucked the leaves
Off my hands.
And wove them into a carpet
That draped all lands.

And under it's cozy covering
New saplings found shade.
And so from the rough clutches of winter
they stealthily evade.

Oh the beauty of Nature is so unfathomable,
Withhold my leafy plumage, as it bursts into flames.
And patiently I sleep, while the snow, to my many hands cling,
Waiting for the rise of the phoenix, until the next spring.

That Pirate!

I bumped into a pirate scurrying away,
And I asked him on the fly where was Sparrow these days?
He said, "He aint sailing on the waves of the deep blue sea,
Word is, he is raging havoc in the world of electricity!"

HarryPotter Mania

There was a time when children were told,
To stay clear of the trap, to not get lured,
If someone offered you sweets so you'll open the door,
Just tell them, "My parents aren't home, so no no.

But now the parents all teach,
To stay out of reach,
Of anybody who says,
"Wanna hear a new Harry Potter story?

Festive Lights

Shimmering against the dark night,
The festive lights all glowed,
As the glass igloo stood there,
Awaiting the arrival of the snow.

Peeping through my half shut
Dozing wintery eyes
I was left dazzled by the
Rejoicingly beckoning festive lights.

Forgetting the chill of the cold nights,
All came busting onto the streets,
As if the heat that pumped their hearts
Emanated from those festive lights.

My #BITSMemories

My #BITSMemories from 1st year to 4th

The first year of BITS did start
And the second day in Gandhi Bhavan courtyard
When all enthu to throw the ball,
My ankle fractured making me fall
But not in the slightest did I feel at loss
Cause so many many hands aided me around
And the warden maam, such a motherly friend,
proved to me that BITS was not just life's any bend
Standing ovation in F-102 was so much fun,
And that is all I remember doing in Chemistry-I
And compulsory attendance was just a ruse
over my drawing talent I did peruse
And the hostel corridor was like a trumpet pipe
And that my friends we used like a mic
And no hands were washed without water fights
And studies....ya..I remember were there too
with a friend of mine devising concentration postures new!
And there was this in the second year
a subject not bio but it taught about genes
Father or grandfather master of it sure maybe
But hang of it I got not, that ghastly subject of ES-I
And the charm of DC I did find
when thrice I deleted movies of TB worth 2.5
And matches in mess - we proved our mania new,
when brand new mess tables we broke full two!
And there was the third year where we did a mass exodus
from Gandhi to Meera, from dawn until dusk
And there we had our brilliant tutors
whose crash courses were our only savior
and pass was a guarantee with no favors, no pension
if for a night you just paid attention!
And then came the fourth year
where somehow I bravely took subjects 2
where one had no class and for the other I turned up not
And so many walks we walked, some not complete
cause blocked were the paths with cows too many!
Beautiful were the skies and audi was 'about' complete
With frogs in basement and saap ki mausi's visit
With echo of mess laughters and my daring mess whistles,
With amazing birthdays and lots of chumpis,
BITS was a home with lots of happy memories!

Waves

Dashing against the gigantic rocks,
I break into droplets of water,
Storing precious pearls and plants,
In my deep depths of water.

Up and down, to and fro,
I move with great vigour,
I rise so high to touch the sky,
Bringing in tides from time to time.

The ships come in,
And rest in harbours,
And are ready again,
To sail with me to farther lands.

In this world without me,
Never ever will the life sustain.
I am heaven for humans,
And home for creatures.
