मन ये बावरा सा उसके बहाव संग बहना चाहे |

उन लहरों संग लहराने को मचला जाये |

कल-कल करती बूंदों संग खेलने का इसका जी चाहे |

उसके दूर मिलते किनारों जैसी बाँहों में ये सिमटना चाहे |

मन ये बावरा सा उसके बहाव संग बस बहना चाहे |

This balmy brain wants to float away,

Riding on the ripples;

Quivering, wavering it wants to flow away,

Along with the river.

With its dashing droplets of water

It so wishes to laugh and play,

In it's merging sides like hands,

It, for eternity, wants to lay.
