When the misty clouds clings to trees
And the eerie winds gushes through leaves
And the sun is cast by a moorish frothy sea
The autumn retreats on the winter's entry.
The trickling water freezes in its bed
The horizon's not visible from far ahead
Small white mounds grows on all tall trees
As the snow takes abode on branches and leaves
Slipery are the slopes so tread lightly
The weather's so dull that I feel drowsy
Etched are the footprints on the shiny white sheet
After shivering in the cold take a sip of hot tea
Keep your ears tuned to hear the jingles
All families here together to mingle
Lurking around the corner is a brand new year
Merry and rejoice as the holiday's here!
