Bridging the Gap

   “Shattering the shackles of all boundaries and dogmas

   The man has now arisen and no one can stop the great bond.”

                                     This is that great bond that encapsulates all the people, all the creatures with one mission, one intent, one resolve and nonpareil thought .The capsule of a community. We intend to make a community with a noesis of “SERVICE Above Self” .An ideal which in this era has implacable enemy .An apotheosis of morality which is to be rediscovered.

                                      The locution “Building communities” is the exquisite art of providing the nucleus which has immense the strength to attract towards its core, to enamour all the organisms who have the desire to serve other .But this is not the end of a community construction .We endeavour in creating such an existence that is based on logic ,not just belief and superstitions ,on knowledge ,not irrational incoherent reasonings by blind fools , on truth ,truth of meaningful exsistence ,not mournful laments of ‘death the inevitable end’ . To build a community where the vision is not distorted by the ugly, the mindless and the cowardly spirits , a community where knowledge that man’s proper estate is an upright posture ,an intransigent mind and a step that travels unlimited roads , to provide an irreplaceable spark to blaze a fire that ensnares hopeless swamps of negations ,not to let souls perish in darkness but to provide them with a goal and the means to reach them .We build communities of action not religions ,of intellect not race ,of open opinion not fettered by creeds ,gospels and insane doctrines ,of crystal perception of vision ,not on superficial photopic vision capturing only the coloration of the skin.

                                               

                             Through centuries of scourges and disasters ,brought about hatred-eaten mystics ,their budding jealousy ,and baseless competitions ,time has seen many civilizations cropping up ,evolving and finally being devoured .This feeling of bitterness has to be curbed ,the spirit of separatism, segregation and wall of social division have to be demolished ,in short the gap between souls, between communities , between nations and between continents has to be bridged .This is not the only fissure to be filled ,the lust to prove our the dominance  on this planet has driven our conscience to shrouded alleys of vicious temptations .The love for all creatures and their right to live on this planet cannot be subdued by the whims and fancies of some greedy hogs.

                                      Technology has played a very vital role in shrinking this massive planet and simultaneously leveling the illusions of life .But we have to bear in mind that concrete bridges can never bridge the canyons nor can mere words satiate the cravings to have more and more .The feelings of contentment is being replaced by the ever growing rat-race , the desire to snatch and devour .Man is transfiguring to a rapacious ,wolfish being .The dog eat dog rule has become the mantra for success in todays world of cut throat competition . The spirit of moving together towards the zenith is fool’s tale to reveal his cowardice .The feeling of oneness is no more acknowledged .The mind has to be elevated from notion of “humanism” to  “Neo-humanism” where we are not the only species for whom we have to show our brotherly love but for all the pervading environment and its creatures ..The bond of love and respect for all creatures ,the feeling of equality has to be resurfaced .

                                  When the world will become interweaved by such bonds ,there will come a golden era where faux bonhomme will be a thing of the past and dream of  “Vasudhev Kutumbkam”will prevail naturally .In the words of the great poet Rabindranath Tagore we will have a world-“Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high ,Where knowledge is free and the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls and where everyone stretches their arms towards perfection”. These motives if become true ,the day will not be far away when the paradise will be nowhere but here ,on our dear earth. I would like to share with you  a dream of mine-

         “I dreamt of a boy casting pebbles into the sea,

          For he was bridging the gap of lands by the sea,

          But what about the hearts I asked thee,

          This path will end only when the hearts all meet ,THEE.”
